The Queen of England is "medically monitored"
The physicians have expressed "worry" over the queen's health, according to a statement released by Buckingham Palace.
A statement from Buckingham Palace on Thursday said that the Queen is under "medical supervision" at her home in Scotland, Balmoral Castle.
Members of the Queen's family have gone to the estate to see their grandmother, who is 96 years old and lives there. According to the statement from Buckingham Palace, the Queen's doctors are worried about Her Majesty's health after a second checkup this morning. They have suggested that she continue to be monitored by doctors. "The Queen is in good health and is still living at Balmoral."
An official from Clarence House said that Prince Charles, the Queen's oldest son and the apparent heir to the throne, and his wife Camilla are on their way to Balmoral to spend some time with the Queen. Prince Charles's oldest son, Prince William, is also said to have been to the estate in Scotland. The new Prime Minister of the UK, Liz Truss, said that rumours that the Queen's health is getting worse are making "the whole country" very worried.
Truss said, "At this time, my thoughts and sympathies are with Her Majesty the Queen and her family, as are the thoughts of people all over the United Kingdom."
This new information comes just two days after Queen Elizabeth II officially named Truss as the new prime minister during a visit to Truss at her retreat in the Scottish Highlands. Truss was there to hear what the monarch had to say.
